Pricing

8% is the free tier’s rate. Selling is free forever. Tiers lower it.

No setup fee. Nothing on shipping. Nothing on tax. Paid tiers are optional, never required to sell, and buy the rate down to 5%. If you don’t sell, we make $0. That’s the right incentive.

The tiers

Free to sell. Paid to grow faster, at a lower rate.

Spark is the whole store, free forever. The paid tiers gate the growth tooling and lower the take rate contractually, 8 to 7 to 6 to 5. Cancel any month and you fall back to Spark with everything you built.

In the contract, not the marketing

Five guarantees behind the one number

01

The fee never touches shipping or tax.

Your rate is computed on the product price alone, with a per-order receipt to prove it.

02

A published rate card, 8 to 5, in the contract.

Free to sell forever, tiers optional. Each tier's rate is written into the contract, not a promotion.

03

Leave with everything, any day.

Your design files, customer list, and supplier's name export on request, never gated on a balance.

04

Nothing is made that isn't sold.

Production starts when an order exists, so inventory risk is zero by default.

05

Regulated goods are vetted.

Supplements and skincare ship as pre-compliant white-label formulas, never an unreviewed AI recipe.

FAQ

Straight answers

Is this dropshipping?

It shares one trait: nothing is made before it's sold. It's your own brand, made domestically by a named supplier, and it ships in days. You keep the customer, the files, and the supplier relationship.

How is this different from Dough?

Dough charges up to 19% of gross, including shipping and sales tax, plus a required monthly fee, and gates production behind pre-order thresholds. Kiln charges 8% of the product price on the free tier, down to 5% on paid tiers that are never required to sell, and makes every order when it's sold. Of the 164 storefronts in their public sitemap, zero had ever flipped from pre-order to in-stock.

Why is there a monthly fee now?

Selling stays free forever at 8%. The paid tiers are optional: they buy the growth tooling and a lower contractual rate, 7, 6, or 5 percent. Cancel anytime and you fall back to Spark. You never lose your store, your files, or your customers.

What about supplements and skincare?

Regulated categories ship only as tested, compliant white-label formulas you put your label on. We never manufacture an unreviewed AI-generated recipe.

When do I get paid?

Days after the order ships. No delivery-confirmation hold, no escrow, no rolling reserve.

What if I want a factory run?

When your one-at-a-time demand proves out, you graduate to batch production. We broker the run at cost and keep your tier's rate on sales, nothing extra on the manufacturing.

Can I leave?

Any day. You export your design files, customer list, and supplier's name, never gated on a balance. There is no non-compete with the supplier who makes your product. For tier subscriptions, the Stripe billing portal is phase 2; until then, email us and we cancel same day.

Why 8%?

It covers generation, storefront, payments ops, supplier routing, and demand data, with margin at scale. A percentage of product sales means we make money exactly when you do, and $0 when you don't. Tiers lower that percentage to 7, 6, or 5 because subscription revenue lets us take less of yours.

What do you want to make?

One sentence. Three honest drafts. Your first sale this week, or we tell you why not.
