What we collect, in plain language.

Kiln is in active development. Today it collects far less than you would guess, and we intend to keep it that way. We do not sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

Demo state such as your draft brand, your sandbox plan, and your storefront settings is stored in your browser using localStorage. It never leaves your device unless you complete a checkout. Clearing your browser storage removes it entirely, and we cannot recover it because we never had it.

Checkout runs on Stripe. When you buy something or subscribe to a paid tier, Stripe processes your card details, name, and billing address under its own privacy policy. Kiln never sees or stores your card number. We receive from Stripe only what we need to fulfill the order, such as the amount, the product, and a shipping address.

We use Vercel Analytics to count page visits in aggregate. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites.
